Welcome to Youth Symphony of DuPage’s 62nd performance season. With the Music Directors Ben Nadel, Carrie Provost, and Daryl Silberman, with Chamber Coaches Jiwon Kim and Harris Jordan, along with Ken Kazin, the Percussion Coordinator, the Youth Symphony of DuPage is now blazed into the 62nd season, providing young musicians opportunities to train and perform with advanced music and to expand their musical and social perspectives while performing for our community with the advanced classical repertoire.  All concerts are performed at Wentz Concert Hall, Naperville, IL.

Please join the Winter Concert 2024 performance of the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, Sinfonietta Strings, Philharmonia Strings, String Chamber Ensemble, and Woodwind Quintets with conductors Benjamin Nadel, Carrie Provost, and Daryl Silberman, as well as their coaches, Jiwon Kim and Harris Jordan, and the percussion coordinator, Ken Kazin.

We are also excited to highlight YSDP’s tradition of excellence by featuring participants in our 2025 Annual Concerto Competition. We are privileged to present a performance by the Concert Orchestra’s 1st-place winner at this concert.

We are honored to welcome guest violinist David Taylor from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, whose remarkable artistry will highlight tonight’s program, where our Symphony Orchestra musicians will perform alongside in collaboration!
